The toll is rising every hour and is already well over 3,000. Nepal and its people are coping with regular strong aftershocks, rains, trauma & anxiety of finding the whereabouts of their relatives and a government that is not equipped to fight such a disaster alone.
As per the reports from U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was centered near Lamjung, a district about 80 km northwest of Kathmandu. But the relief is yet to reach the area most severely hit by quake since few roads connecting it to Kathmandu are cut by many small landslides.
Despite all the odds, relief efforts are being undertaken and rescuers are trying hard to look for survivors in the wreckage of buildings. So as Nepal fights the aftermaths of worst earthquake to have hit the country in 80 years, Aequor stands in support of the #NepalQuake victims.
